Brokered and Supervised by Nordic Maritime, M.V. “TRICO SABRE” Successfully Delivered to Trico Marine Services Inc.

Nordic Maritime Pte Ltd brokered shipbuilding contracts between Tebma Shipyard Ltd, India, and Active Subsea ASA, Norway, for building 8 units of DP II - VS 470 MPSV with a total approximate value of US$350 million. The Contract was signed in 25th August 2006.

At the same time, Nordic was also given the Project Management and Building Supervision Contracts to take responsibility for the full project execution, project management and site supervision throughout constructions of these 8 (eight) 73.4m Vik-Sandvik designed MPSVs.

The First vessel was successfully delivered to Trico and official christening was done on 29 April 2009 in Malpe, India. The vessels are designed to support subsea services, including performing inspection, maintenance and repair work using remotely operated vehicles ("ROVs"), dive and seismic support, and light construction activities.

Active Subsea was established in December 2006 by the third generation ship owning company J. Hagenaes Shipping AS and was fully acquired by Trico Marine Services Inc. in November 2007.
