March 2009
Nordic Maritime Pte Ltd has successfully delivered a 2D-Seismic Survey Vessel to PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP). The Vessel, M.V. BINH MINH 02 (previously known as M.V. PAVLOVSK), was converted from an Atlantic-333 Fishing Trawler to a state-of-the-art 2D Seismic Survey Vessel under the Conversion Contract signed between PVEP and Nordic in January 2008.

She was delivered to PVEP in Singapore, and has sailed on her maiden voyage to Vietnam on 21 March 2009 , under her new identity of M.V. BINH MINH 02, a Vietnam Flag 2D Seismic Survey Vessel.

At the same time, Nordic was awarded a 1-year Operations and Management Contract for the Vessel, where Nordic is to fully operate and manage the vessel’s 2D seismic exploration operations on behalf of PTSC Marine. This Contract is renewable every year, on mutual agreement between both Parties.

Nordic values the close relationship with PetroVietnam group of companies, as commented by Nordic’s CEO, Mr. Morten Innhaug, “We are proud to say that this Contract is just the start of good collaborations between Nordic and PVEP, and it could open door for many more successful collaborations to come”.
