Award from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd for the Provision of Marine Seismic Data Acquisition.

Nordic Maritime Pte Ltd, in collaboration with Tanjung Offshore Services Sdn. Bhd, has been awarded the provision of marine seismic data acquisition services for Block SB305, Offshore Sabah from PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd. (“PCSB”) on 20 May 2010.

Tanjung Offshore Services Sdn. Bhd. (“TOS”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tanjung Offshore Berhad, is Nordic Maritimes’ exclusive PCSB licensed agent in Malaysia for 2D and 3D seismic work.

The main 2D seismic vessel Nordic Energy, along with chase boats Viking Vanguard and Nordic Grace, all owned and operated by Nordic Maritime, started the acquisition of the block’s approx. 3500 line km in June 2010 and the job is expected to be completed by July/August 2010.

Being Nordics’ first 2D seismic job for PCSB, it marks a good start of more collaboration in the future, and this will be a significant milestone for Nordic to establish itself as a successful seismic operator in Malaysian waters.
