Nordic Maritime entered another shipbuilding contract with NGV Tech for one 34m Crew Boat, 60 passengers

After a successful collaboration between Nordic Maritime Pte Ltd (“Nordic”) and Malaysian shipyard, NGV Tech Sdn Bhd (“NGV”) for building of four 300/400-men, DP2 accommodation/construction barges, yet another shipbuilding contract was signed between the two parties for a 34-meter Crew Boat.

This contract which was signed recently constitutes a shipbuilding agreement of Nordic’s first Crew Boat as an addition to its existing fleet, a 34-meter long with capacities of 60 passengers and 8 crews, worth about USD5 million. She is expected to be delivered by end of September 2009.

The Crew Boat is designed as a combined crew boat for offshore works and also to do chase activity for seismic survey operations.
