Nordic Maritime Celebrates 10th Anniversary with good company, good food and good cheer.

Nordic Maritime Pte Ltd celebrated its 10th Anniversary at the Republic of Singapore Yacht Club (RSYC), West Coast Ferry Road, on 19 November 2009. Amidst heavy rain in the evening, over 100 people attended the event, consisting of business associates, friends, staffs and relatives.

Cocktails and light snacks were served at the reception area while waiting for others to arrive. Clinking of wine glasses and joyous laughter filled the room. The opening speech by Nordic Maritime CEO, Mr. Morten Innhaug, marked the beginning of the night with a toast.

Many suppliers and business partners sent their well wishes on colorful flower arrangements which decorated the venue beautifully at every corner. The cool after-rain breeze, coupled with great scenery, good food and soft Jazz music completed the atmosphere.

Mr. Egil Østlid of Kongsberg Maritime presented a silver plate which has all 12 previous Kings’ stamps etched on it. The plate was made from the old silver of Kongsberg mines and was brought all the way from Norway.

Mr. Hoang Viet Bach of PVEP also presented a special painting of the famous “Văn Miếu” – Temple of Literature, made of shattered stones and glasses.

It was heartening that some took the extra step to convey their congratulatory message to Nordic, and personally to Morten Innhaug, who is also the founder of the company.

“The event was a great success and we would like to thank all who have taken the time off their busy schedule to join in our celebration, especially those who have flown all the way from overseas such as Vietnam, Sweden, and Norway,” said Morten.
