Nordic is constantly looking for qualified seismic crews to fill up various positions within our vessel fleet of 2D/3D Seismic Research Vessels.

Marine Crew Position(s) Available

Nordic Maritime is constantly looking for dynamic and dedicated marine crews to fill up various positions within our vessel fleet of Seismic Research Vessels, Anchor Handling Supply vessels (AHTS/PSV), Offshore Support Vessels (OSV) and Accommodation/Construction barges.

IT Engineer Position Available

Qualification :-

  1. Certification as a system administrator or equivalent industry experience.
  2. 2 or more years Microsoft Office, development of database applications.
  3. Diploma or equivalent from recognized technical institute.
  4. Ability to follow procedure & efficiently trouble-shoot network, hardware & software issues.
  5. Good knowledge of networks & setting up & maintaining servers & security-access aspects.
  6. Basic knowledge of computer based planned maintenance systems.

Responsibilities :-

  1. Ensuring all of the duties of the IT Engineer are completed as per job description.
  2. Support technical support & service operation unit in execute their duties.
  3. Work with all personnel & outside contacts to achieve company goals.
  4. Identify areas of improvement in the company & assist in creating & implementing solutions.
  5. Perform any other duties assigned by your superior or management.
  6. Basic knowledge of offshore & technical operation.
  7. Install, configure, maintain network services, equipment & duties.
  8. Supports administration of servers & servers clusters.
  9. Manages all system back-up & restore protocol.
  10. Perform troubleshooting analysis of servers, workstations & associated systems.
  11. Documents network problems & resolution for future reference.
  12. Monitors system performance & implements performance tuning.
  13. Manage user accounts, permissions, email, anti-virus, anti-spam.
  14. Requires a thorough knowledge of networking essentials.
  15. Oversee software & network security.
  16. Strong analytical abilities & professional office experiences needed.

HSE Manager Position Available

Qualification :-

  1. 3 years of directly related experience in HSE Compliance.
  2. Diploma in Heath & Safety.
  3. Excellent people skills.
  4. Excellent communication and reporting.

Responsibilities :-

  1. To support the top management in the HSE policy & guidelines definition & delivery.
  2. To liaise between clients, crew & staff on safety related issues.
  3. To ensure that management system conforms to certification standards & company policies.
  4. To provide independent professional advise & technical information where appropriate to the management.
  5. Monitor the safety and pollution aspects of the operation of the vessels.
  6. Investigate and analyze all accidents & near-misses, prepare report of findings, including recommendations to prevent recurrence & implement approved course of action.
  7. Review company policies on a regular basic and propose, implement & monitor measures necessary to comply with HSE Legislation & codes of practice.
  8. To conduct safety audits both internal & external & ensure that any remedial recommendations are implement.
